I don't know how my query ended up under this title...but thank you for replying. I have the book on Ewing. One of the comments Crowley makes is that he doesn't have any letters of Henry's from the war. I just finished transcribing five of them that Henry wrote his wife Emma Burr Ewing's cousin, Emily Weaver when he was in Batesville-Jacksonport-Little Rock area in '63.
I will check your book for information on the others. I appreciate your help.
