I am looking for any info on the 2nd Georgia Sharpshooters out of Augusta, GA (I think). I have recently come across the application of my gggrandfather enlistment. His name was William Henry Hendrix born 6/5/1845 and enlisted in Company C, under J. (R or K) Jackson Brigade, H. Walker Division, Hardee Corps. Any info or help you can provide for either my gggrandfathers service with this group or the group itself would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Melanie
