I have been researching Color Bearers and Color Guards.
I have a W. D. Whitehead as the Color Bearer killed
at Malvern Hill. I have his obit. and a short description
of his funeral. Does your research agree with this?
I have the names of 11 men assocaiated with the Color
Guard; would be glad to compare notes with you.
