Terry, this is a reply to an old post. In many of your postings, you have mentioned two items of interest to me. My great-grandfather was Michael Orlando Ghormley of the 2Cherokee Cav, Co. F. CSA. I understand his name was mis-spelled on the unit's rolls. Any info for me?

Also, you refer to Major John Foreman, son of Stephen Foreman? My grandmother from Tahlequah was a Foreman. She married Wm. H Ghormley who was a son of Michael O. Ghormley mentioned above.
