Your points about "spicing up" the family tree and stetched stories are spot on! I have ran into them like hitting a brick wall. I, as an amatuer historian, do the exact same thing you do. I will check source after source after source to watching something add up. What drives me nuts is when two or three sources say the same thing, but a fourth source is different, then the fifth source is different, etc. Makes you feel like you have to start all over again!

What is bugging me so bad about the Warrens is...did Geiger just ASSUME they were at Lawrence? Is there something somewhere I am missing? Considering all the Warrens did that is documented, you would ASSUME that they were at Lawrence, but...ASSUME is like walking a razor's edge. I am contining to chase the Warrens and trying to overturn every rock I can think of. I will chase something until I DO go cuss in an open field or just exhaust everything. I dont know if that's an asset or downfall in my research. To chase something unmercifully! When I want something that I know will open the public's eye, I get relentless. And that gives me some sleepless nights.

Anyway, I am going to see if I cant truthfully get the Warrens in Lawrence!
