Okay, sorry for the multiple postings, but it appears that the most active mill in the early years of that area was a mill at Fursman Spring located on the south bank of the Jacks Fork, two miles upstream from the junction with Current River and about 5 or 6 miles downstream from modern Eminence. Since this was pretty well surrounded by Chilton holdings, this may well be the Chilton Mill. The other possibility is one on Shawnee Creek a little ways upstream. But my guess is Fursman Spring. It's a decent sized spring off of the river far enough not to be flooded.
