Oops! your heading plainly said the escape took place in February 1864. There was an escape on February 17 involving at least a Crews, Nemier, Rudder, and two prisoners named Schultz, according to skimpy Union prison ledger entries. Let me look further, but I have to go to bed for now. Big day tomorrow.
