Ben: Thanks for the tip. I wonder if some kind soul who has access to Mississippi census records could see if the two were brothers, on either the 1840 or 1850 census, dependent on ages. I have to do my census hunting at a Genalogical society a half hour away, since I've been too cheap to subscribe to a service. There must be some connection.
