Can you tell us anything about the Rev. and Mrs. Sallie Lea who cared for Private William Thomas Daniel, 34th Georgia Infantry? The Lea's were residents of Brownsville and provided convalescent care for WTD after he was released on parole by the Federals from the Confederate field hospital near Champion Hill in May 1863.
