That all the rhetoric of slave revolts, runaways, and undergroud railroads so popular in books, and movie, and political agendas is just that rhetoric and Political agenda.

When Tubman says "if only they knew they were slaves" was she saying that the southern slaves were so DUMB that they didn't know their situation? Surely Not!

What she really was saying is that 99.5% of the slaves were content with their situation. What slave in the history of humanity has ever willing accepted the religion of a brutal task master?

In actuality it seems that the radical abolishionist between 1850 and 1860 caused the slave/master relationship situation to become worst. Their activities prompted the passage of new laws in several states, including the north, which placed more restrictions on both slaves and free Blacks that had not existed prior to that time.

So it would seem that the radical abolishionist were responcible for creating some, if not most, of the unrest, And for what purpose? Where they trying to forment racial unrest for the purpose of causing slave revolts even to the point that Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclaimation for that purpose?

Lincoln, The Great Emancipator, who freed the slaves of his ENEMIES, who he could not legally free. But did not free the slaves of his FRIENDS and cronies, like U.S. Grant.
