I completely understand and share your interest for promoting accurate history even in the face of stubborn or hostile people. The only thing I would add to George's statement is that sometimes there are more than just two sides, and I would hope that all of them can be shared.

Yet, how do these concerns translate to discussions on this board? Or, to put it another way, with these concerns in mind, what do you see as the purpose of discussing viewpoints here? What is the goal?
