Great idea, Bos. I was talking to Cheryl about your idea, and she said it would be interesting to add a chapter on dialects. For example, as natives of northern Arkansas, to us a paper sack will always be a "poke", and we'll continue to "tote" instead of carry, and we'll always be "fixin' to" instead of getting ready to. Many of the kids around here talk like inner-city rappers instead of corn-fed country kids.

One of the things I recall from my military days was the wide range of accents of the people I worked with. Modern day kids all seem to sound alike to me.
