Re: Decoration inflation
In Response To: Decoration inflation ()

This is interesting: There were 19 double MOH recipients. Eight Navy, Seven Marine Corps, and four Army. Who would have thought? See this site: http://www.cmohs.org/recipients/double.htm Stan

BTW, I retired as a Chief Petty Officer. During almost twelve years on active duty I was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal, Second Award. I received numerous letters of commendation, which don't hang too well on one's chest, and an engraved Zippo Lighter from the King of Greece, for a covert photo operation.

At my farher in law's funeral, the OIC of the burial detail was an Ensign; he had about four rows of ribbons on his chest! Stan
