Ok, if it was God's will then ask yourself was it His perfect will or did it fall in the category of His permissible will. Sometimes God permits things to happen to folks He would have rather seen His children do differently. Not all things are God's perfect will. Is murder or robbery His perfect will? Of course not. Yet he permits these things to take place. I believe God would have preferred everybody to have handled things differently.

I read the Bible a lot and I've never seen anything to lead me to believe He favored on side over the other. I just simply cling to His promise that all things work together for good to them that love (Obey, serve etc.) Him. Seems to me there were "winners" & "losers" on both sides.
