Re: God's Providence
In Response To: Re: God's Providence ()

I have allowed myself to be drawn into what is becoming a public disagreement over whether or not we can state as fact that we know what God's perfect will is. May I refer to this passage...

Romans 11: 34 "Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?..."

I apologize to you, Jim Martin and all on this board for getting involved with this. I usually don't post anymore because I simply don't wish to get involved in pointless argument or debate. I believe the Apostle Paul when he, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote and told us that all things should be done for the edification (building up) of the Church. This thread is not going to build up anybody.

I Corinthians 14: 12 So it is with you. Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts, try to excel in gifts that build up the church.

So asking forgiveness if I have offended anyone's beliefs I will shut down my participation in this thread and sign off the air for a while.
