I respect your wishes. However, all of us surely understand that Christian soldiers of the Confederate army who survived the war must have wrestled with this issue. Considering the degree of devastation and loss involved, it must have been extremely difficult, both during and after the war.

Most of us struggle with God's will at times during our lives. Hopefully the verses offered may offer some guidance on that issue.
