Yes, Yanks too. It is a good example of how a single word can have multiple meanings depending on its context. As an aside, back in college I was in a Latin America history survey course, when a British foreign exchange student opined that the U.S.'s problems in Central America were because of our blustering attitude. He proceeded to say, "Like our experience in WWII when we said the problem with you Yanks is that you are overpaid, oversexed and ove rhere." To which I replied, "You Brits were just sore because you were underpaid, underfed, undersexed and under Eisenhower." I had waited a long time for the perfect moment to use that quote. LOL
