You have bits and pieces of information. There are not Company "1"'s. There are Company I's and each regiment had one.

You may want to start with the Official Records of the War of the Rebellion. If you are in the East Tennessee area you can find a set of these at the UT Library, the Eastern Tennessee Historical Society, the Athens Public Library, and the Chattanooga Public Library.

There was not battle at Sweetwater in November 1863. The fighting at this point was north of the Tennessee River between Loudon and Knoxville.
