Re: 24th Texas Cavalry burials, Camp Butler, Illin

sorry I didn't have a chance to get right back with response. I got the hospital record along with his service record from National Archives in Washington and copies of the letters fron Texas State Archives in Austin. The copies of letters,I posted, were in no certain order so I have tryed to put them in some type of order. Because of a space problem I was not able to put all the letters on the board. I have 2 more plus his military records, also. My uncle had the orginal letters and donated them to Archives, but until his death I never knew of their existance. I sent them to Karen, also and she said she may attempt to put up a page on 24th & 25th. She is very good on research! Have a nice day!
