Re: terrys texas rangers roster

Troy,

I think I talked to you earlier about a grave that I found in Mobile, Alabama, Magnolia cemetery, which held the remains of Captain Harry Hunter.

Harry T. Hunter
18?? - ??

Enlisted in Company K on March 1, 1862 in Murfreesboro, TN by Capt. Christian.
Promoted to 1st Seargent.
Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant by August 1862.
Promoted to 1st Lieutenant by July 1863 when he was commanding Company K.
Promoted to Captain by December 1863.
Wounded at Farmington, TN in October 1863.
Furloughed to at least February 1864.
Present as Captain by August 1864.
Died at Unionville, AL about November 1864.

I took several photos of the grave and would like to send them to you. Unfortunately, they were all taken with my latest camera which was set at 8 Meg. I can't forward those to you as I have only dial up! Please give me an address where I may send them to you on a CD.

thank you in advance.

Charles W. Munro

PS: The tombstone on Capt. Harry Hunter's grave said that he died on October 11, 1864.
