Re: Camp Washington?

From one of my GGF's records in Nov/Dec 1861 he was listed as, "left at cantonment Washington". At time he was in Company K, 6th Texas Cavalry Regiment and some where between Flat Creek Missouri and Ft Gibson where the 6th was working the north / east corner of the Indian Territories. They spent most of the months of Nov/Dec at Gibson. This still doesn't locate Washington, but it is closer than Tennessee.
Gary. I correct myself. James Tyree Nolan was in Company D.
He transferred to company K on Mar 1, 1862.
