Just when I thought I was away from Camp Wishington, I ran across some of Col Ras Stirman's letters that were written at Washington Barracks, which must be in Missouri, but in line with Fayetteville, Arkansas as he wrote his sister from both places in the summer of 1861, about his new Sharpshooter Regiment.
