I recently discovered that my GG grandfather, William J Ingraham, served in Co. G, 60th Regiment, Virginia Infantry. He enlisted in April of 1861 and was paroled in 1865. He was noted as an ambulance driver. He would have been about 17 yrs. old when he enlisted. I discovered his complete service record, including his "Parole of Honor" from the US government, on Ancestry. This was really exciting to me, as I had no previous information about him.
I am afraid at this time I have no helpful information for your book, but I would like to purchase it when it is available.
Sincerely,
