Dr. Jones, if I recall correctly off the top of my head, this unit was not at Selma. It was in East Miss. during that battle. The 24th moved into West Alabama on April 5th with Gen. Wirt Adams. Again, this is off the top of my head and I stand to be corrected. I'll try to remember to double check my file tonight.
