Don't mind being corrected, but I was going on Stewart Sifakis, Compendium of the Confederate Armies, for the 24th's assignments and battle record. He shows Wilson's Raid and Selma as the only two battles in which the 24th was involved. I also checked Battles and Leaders' list of "opposing forces" for Wilson's Raid, which includes "Chalmers' Division ... composed of the brigades of Brig.-Gens. ... Wirt Adams." The 24th Battalion was in Wirt Adams' Brigade, and B&L is admittedly a little lacking on specific regimental assignments here. But, I have generally found Sifakis to be accurate.
