In doing research on one side of my family, I have stumbled on the fact one of my g-g uncles was a POW at Pt Lookout with my g-g grandfather from the other side of my family. So, I am looking for a bit of information on Thomas Knight (county unknown, but from AL) in the 17th AL, captured at Franklin, TN in 1864, sent to several prisons (Nashville, Louisville, Pace, OH and finally PT Lookout. I believe he would have enlisted (drafted?) later in the war, he was in his 40s, I believe, when he joined. As always, I appreciate the help and hope the details above are accurate.
