Frank, as you know, there are no muster rolls in the Compiled Service Records from Hughey's Battery. Over the years, I've been compiling a reconstructed roster of the battery, based on the service records of men detailed from other units to Hughey's Battery, as well as unofficial records like pension files, letters, diaries, and postwar reminiscences. I don't like to post rosters like that, because some of the information is impossible to verify, but I think in the case of Hughey's Battery (since there's nothing else available), I may go ahead and type it up and post it, with a strong caution attached regarding the reconstructed nature of the roster. Or do you think that would do more harm than good? I've learned in my years of research that bad information is almost impossible to kill once it gets into the public domain.
