If I may add,in a small way (like a hacker put in a foursome with Woods,Mickelson and Singh) to the disc. on 19/24th Ark. From the Pinnell(8th Mo.CSA)diary:

"August 2, 1863-Arkansas regiment attached to our brigade,the 19th Arkansas.At 'Camp Price' on the Camden road four miles from Little Rock."

"August 15,1863(Now part of Frost's division)-March through Little Rock,entrench north of the Arkansas river."

My gggrandfathers' muster sheet for Aug. 1863 lists "Hardy's regiment co.F 24th Reg't Ark. Inf. temporarily attached to Col. Dawson's 19th Reg't Ark. Inf."

Pinnell-"September 10,1863-Commenced our retreat...Infantry never fired a gun."

I sent an e-mail inquiry to the Butler Center about the Farr letters some time ago and they replied that they had not been transcribed. If you find the transciptions and would be willing to share those,I certainly would,very much, like to have a copy.
