Bryan, while this is not something I'm typically interested in, I'd like to see your list. I'm interested in cross-checking it against the 26th's records to see how many infantrymen transferred over and when. Your warning should be sufficient to put thinking researchers on notice.

Would you be interested in the names I have of soldiers that transferred from the 26th to Hughey's battery on or about September 1, 1863? If so, I'll try to dig that up this evening and post the names. I'll probably start a new thread, so Tom can have his topic back!
