James E. Williams also joined for duty on November 22, 1863, at Benton. He was eighteen at the time. There is no further information on him in his service record after that. He likely mustered out at the same time as his father.
Both men appear to have received pensions, at least I found them listed in an index. Lott received an invalid pension in 1918, while James got one in 1898. I do not know any of the details of the pension applications.
