Re: John H. Parker, Dawson's 19th

My John H. Parker was born abt. 1829 in Alabama, son of Peter Hiram Parker. The Parker family migrated to Arkansas 1859/60. John bought property next door to Isham Prewitt Latimer (my ggg-grandfather). He married Lucetta Elvira Latimer in 1860 (per federal census) and they had two daughters - Epsie Clementine and Henager Elvira Parker. Lucetta was pregnant with Henager when John died. I suspect he died of measles and was buried in a mass grave in Pine Bluff, AR; however, he could have been buried on the Parker homeplace near Dierks, AR, but no marker was placed on his grave. Per Lucetta's filing on the estate of John H. Parker, John died 8/28/1862 in Pine Bluff, AR. There were 10 children born to Peter Hiram (that I know of). A DNA test has been run on Peter Hiram Parker, but does not connect to anyone family at the moment. I think his identification is P85.
