A little trivia some might find interesting: Col. Thomas Roe Freeman and Sen. Joshua Chilton were double cousins through the Chilton and Inman family lines. A common ancestor was Shadrach Inman who was a friend and companion of Daniel Boone. Carrying on the family tie even further, two of Col Freemans children married two of Sen. Chiltons Children.
