Thank you very much. I have been in contact with the city and county courthouses, historical society etc. I checked them all again today and they still say there has never been any papers, memoirs or letters. The war Museum also says the same.
You are such a knowledgeable researcher and author. Do you have any ideas on how I might find what everyone is again telling me doesn't exist?
Mr James told me he has been looking for the mythical papers for 40 years. If you believe they are there they must be. If you have ideas on how best for me to find them I will arrange to go there ASAP.
