Figure if you don't know.. one of the others here might.
in the online bio of Col Freeman.. it says he was wounded 4 times. do you have any idea of when he was? or know where I might find out.
also was freeman involved in the fighting during the Camden expedition by the union. if so, so you know which battles he was involved in? I am a little confused about his chain of command in 1864.
in looking up Lt Col Joseph B. Love I noticed he was listed as the staff quartermaster. would that be a job he did most of his militery career?
oh last question - I saw a copy of the POW list for Freeman from that prison in Ill. any idea where I can find those records. the letter said they were together in some militery prison, if it was from pea ridge.. then that might be it. unless freeman was captured twice.
