Bruce you are correct re the Jolly's of the 33rd Co. A. I'm convinced that this is the bunch listed in the 1860 Census I posted. On further review (instant replay anyone) I know where I made my error and it was in the linkage of the 1850 census to the Jo M listed in the 1860 census. I latched onto the middle initial "M" given info on Rebecca Jolly's death entry and city direcory entries in the St. Louis.

There is a 13 year age difference and as it turns out the Joseph in Lebanon Twsp appears to be listed more often as Joseph N, not M. That fits the SOS card better as well. So I'll stick to my prior assertion that Joseph Jolly neighbor to Humphrey Cathey in the 1850 Morgan Co. census below is likely the two mentioned in the county history. There are a bunch of Jolly's in Cole, Cooper, and Moniteau County at the time. I'll polish up the family tree and see where all these Joseph, John, and Benjamins fit.
