Humphrey Cathey is the son of Joseph Cathey and Hannah Posey. Thus all the Posey's in the 1850 Morgan co census.
Alonzo Cathey found living with Rebecca Jolly in St. Louis has confirmed DOB of January 31, 1861. His marriage certificate is co signed by his "Aunt and Guardian Rebecca Jolly" dated 25 Sept 1881. This would indicate at least a probate or guardianship appointment in Cooper or Morgan County which may have more info.
Mt Carmel Church is actually in Morgan county, still exists and has a cemetery attached. I can only dig up partial listings.
