Mr Chase does not realise the power of this board and others like it to change peoples minds. We have heard the Northern story of the war for decades. They have nothing new to add to the interpretation.

It is boards like this where alternate viewpoints are expressed and discussed that are changing peoples minds that maybe it wasn't as simplistic as popular history tell the story.
