I want to see it. Guess I'll have to hogtie a grandkid to go with me. Hubby refuses to even think about it. When it comes to "The Duke", you do not upstage "The Duke". It's like tugging on Superman's cape. Just not done, in his estimation.

The original was all Wayne. Glenn Campbell was good as the Ranger but it was pretty much a no acting required role. Just ride a horse, argue a lot and die. In thinking about it, John Wayne pretty much played the same role in most all of his westerns. The Cowboys and The Shootist were a bit more 'personal' and off the 'beaten path' for him. He wasn't used to dying in the end.
