I think Cousin Alex would agree. Shame he had to figure it out the hard way. Dumb. I never understood it either. Pensacola's "Dueling Oaks" are on land that was once in the family. Long story on how it was obtained in a swindle by notables who have statues of themselves in parks now. My 3xGUncles got into a fight in a saloon and one stabbed the other. The stabbed one died. They were 16 and 17 years of age. We were a 'frontier town' then and there were very few real laws.

I'm going to look for that book. If the library doesn't have it, I'm going to BooksAMillion next week anyway.
