Additional to the E Mails, please review the book entitled Campaigns of General Nathan Bedford Forrest, Chapter Fifteen to the end of the book. for complete records of the battles of Busharts in the Kentucky Brigade under Lieutent general Buford. This record includes all battles of Forrest and the area of Union Tennessee plus all locations of Forrest battles in Tennessee. Chapter Fifteen is the beginning of the transfer to the Forrerst Cavalry Corp on March 10, 1864 and concludes at the last battle of the war prior to the surrender of his troops. Prior to this transfer, the Busharts were at battles for Shiloh,2nd Campaign Vicksburg, Jackson, Champion Hill, Raymond through the Meridian Campaign. My survey notes the battles and times. We traveled in their footsteps at Shiloh, Brice Crossroads, Tupelo and through Union tennessee and Vicksburg ( Raymond, Jackson, Champion Hill). My survey is placed within the home town of my dad, Hickman, Kentucky, at the Hickman Library and the Historical Society of Kentucky genealogy Division, Frankfort.
