My response to Greg Millers article Busharts in the 3rd Mounted Infantry Regiment of Kentucky is that this is a record is of some of the cousins and the brothers of my grandfather James Samuel Bushart, 1854, (review the Reviewers Profile of this writer James Samuel Bushart and see WWW.MTCWRT.ORG IN the News Letter section of Our Stories written by Jim Lewis and this writer about the total Civil War history regarding the Bushart Family in the Civil War noting Confederate and Union troopers. The total above history is actually too great for me to place here, but a full review of the above will explain the entire history of the Bushart Family in the Civil War. I am very proud to place this history before Tennessee and Kentucky historians and I hope these records are enjoyed. I enjoyed this article by Greg Miller and I appreciate it.
