but not found as John F. Burke), private, 1st Co. H, 26th Tennessee Infantry, which became 2nd Co. I, 1st Confederate Regiment Georgia Volunteer, enlisted July 8, 1861. On the company roll dated Aug. 31, 1863 (last on which borne), he was reported present. No later record found. Rolls on file cover period to Feb.
