Thx, George! I have another great-great grandfather, Thomas Jefferson Davis, born 1834,who we think served in either the 17th Tx Cavalry or 9th Tx Cavalry. He was from Red River Co., Texas, also. If anyone out there might have info on his service, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
