I didn't realize there were two Keith families in Titus Co. tracing to different ancestors back in the 1700's. The keiths I'm most familiar with are descendants of Nichodemus Keith b. ca. 1755, reportedly in Bedford Co., Va. and married Margaret "Peggy" Borden. Some databases show Nichodemus born in Knox Co., TN but this would appear to incorrect and perhaps is based on him living in Knox Co. in the early 1800's. This family is pretty well documented, as you may know. Do you know where Alexander Keith b. ca. 1750, md. Mgt. Harned, was born? I'm wondering if there's a possibility that Nichodemus and Alexander could be related, possibly brothers. As far as I know, Nichodemus Keith's parents are unknown. There are at least two publications on this Nichodemus Keith family. I also am not an expert on the Keiths or O'Neals, but do find them interesting.
