Yes, you're right that his death is listed as Nov at Belle Plaine (Bull Run) however a corrected version by the Surgeon General at the time lists him mustered at Brooks Station in November and December and having died at Station Hospital on 5 Dec, Brooks Station. The corrected version is underlined and signed by the doctor so I'm going w/the corrected version. This information (with original and corrected dates) is part of his pension file. The fact that he was mustered there in Dec makes it seem the Dec date of death is the accurate one.

I think Brooke Station must have been the hospital for Belle Plaine, don't you? Cause of death was Typhoid Fever.
