Thanks, Bill, for checking the images sources, I hadn't. Yes I am familiar w/the 11th reserves on PA roots. Edmund Sylvester was my g-grandfather. His pension file runs over 300 pps; Leonides only 56 pps! In all those pages I do not get more info on their grandparents - just their father and mother. That list was the first that led me astray about the date of death of Leonides. Sure wish I could find where he was buried. No inventory of his effects left, no last words. The lack of these is noted in the file notes. Very interesting to read but laborious to transcribe, obviously. E.S. Ruth stayed in for the duration was mustered out after the war. Thanks again.
