I have
725. Martin, W. J., Co. K, 4 Ala. Inf., Private/Private,
which appears to be William Jasper MARTIN, Jr.
I also have another listing for a William MARTIN
who served in the 4th Alabama:
676. Martin, William, Co. C, 4 Ala. Inf., Private/Private
I have read much about Alberta Martin and her husband. Don't know if
anyone else read __Confederates in The Attic__, not recommended by me,
but it included much biased information regarding her, her husband,
Confederate re-enactors, and many other Southerners.
And that's all I have to say about that!

I have two listings:
547. Martin, R. B., Co. I (or J?), 33 Ala. Inf., Private/Private
554. Martin, Richard, Co. I, 33 Ala. Inf., Private/Private
OFU: Martin, R. B.
Believe both of these are your guy.

"Also Covington but have not found who he served
with:
"Charles L. Martin, Jan 15, 1835-Dec 21, 1916; m.
Nancy Sanders; buried Pleasant Home Church Cemetery,

I show several C. MARTINs and several Charles MARTINs.
Here are some possibilities for your Charles L. Martin:
86. Martin, Charles L., Co. A, 2 Alabama Cavalry, Private/Private
87. Martin, Charles L., Co. B, 1 Batt’n Hilliard’s Legion, Alabama Volunteers, Private/Private
92. Martin, C. L., Co. F, 2 Alabama Cavalry, Private/Private
93. Martin, C. L., Co. H, 60 Alabama Infantry, Corporal/Corporal
Do any of these seem likely to you?

Appreciate your additional contributions. If you determine
which unit this Charles L. Martin served in, please keep me in mind.
