Is there anyway to find a list of the kia at Shiloh, or any list of all dead from the 21st from the entire war? Does such a list even exist?
I am researching a Thomas Jefferson Baker that lived in Western part of Mobile County 1860 that family lore/history says died in ACW.
The 21st Infantry being organized in Mobile and the T J Baker being on the roster at CWSS probably my TJB, the 21st losing 200 at Shiloh, I am surmising that T J Baker quite possibly died at Shiloh, or later from wounds after the battle.
I live too far from the Alabama archives to research this properly so, grasping at straws, wondering if there is a KIA and died Roster online for the 21st.
Or if anyone here has a list of 21st dead.
I don't even know if Pvt Bakers CSRs would reveal any of this info even if I could get over to the Alabama archives.
My main goal is just to determine if this is indeed my Thomas J Baker and, if so, when and where he met his demise would be a big big plus .
Any help, thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
