Thanks a million Art, Rick and George. Y'all stepped up to the plate even better than I expected anyone to be able to do on this.

I had to get up late last night and let a dog out so checked the latest and went ahead and sorted it all out and added your quotes, verbatim, to Pvt Bakers page in my family file. Hope y'all don't mind me using your works and names. I know any descendants of T J Baker that comes along and finds it they will certainly appreciate your work. Which is what this is really all about anyway.

I will keep digging and looking for info on where the casualties, the boys that died, at the Grand Junction Hospital were buried. If things pop with that like with this, a Find A Grave for such a burying ground might be set up in the future, that would be a good thing if one is not already set up under another name that we're not aware of. I can try the historical folks in that area or go ahead and approach the Tennessee Message Board here and give them a stab at it too.

I might be able to think of a way to add baker to FaG now with a cemetery unknown statement, a memorial of sorts. I feel sure that he is buried in Hardeman County somewhere and probably near Grand Junction. I will wait awhile though until I hear from someone here that might know about the burying ground, or maybe someone from the Tennessee Board later.

Anything else you can think of to add to Bakers stuff, or ideas on the graveyard, or anything else, post it here and I'll keep watch for it.
