There is no mention of a burial. Company clerks with the unit miles from the hospitals would normally have no information on burials. His CMSR only has one card, that being the one which records his death date at Grand Junction - nothing more. It was rare for a soldier's body to be transported home for burial. Likely he was buried near the hospital. The grave may have been marked at one time, but probably with a wooden marker that may have been lost or deteriorated. That was the fate of most Confederate dead, if they were not buried in a mass grave. Your best bet may be to contact a local historical society in or near Grand Junction and see if they have any information to help you.
